Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Airport transfer
On arrival of your flight, we will be waiting for you at Menara Marrakech airport to transfer you to your riad.
Welcome to Morocco, welcome to “The red pearl of the south: Marrakech”.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora
After breakfast, departure towards the Moroccan desert crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260 m).
Visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for many famous movies.
Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa, then travel through the Draa Valley with its palm groves.
Arrival in Zagora, the gateway to the desert. Overnight in a charming riad.
Day 3: Zagora – Old Paris-Dakar Rally Track – Ouzina
Discover the Draa Valley palm groves and travel along tracks used during the Paris-Dakar Rally.
Pass Berber villages, hamadas, and black desert landscapes.
Arrival at the Erg Ouzina dunes to enjoy a spectacular sunset. Overnight in a desert lodge.
Day 4: Ouzina – Khamlia – Merzouga Desert
Visit the village of Ouzina and meet nomadic families.
Continue to Khamlia to enjoy traditional Gnawa music.
Arrival at the Erg Chebbi dunes. Camel ride at sunset and overnight in Berber tents in the heart of the desert. Dinner included.
Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Early wake-up to enjoy sunrise over the dunes.
Return by camel, breakfast, then visit Rissani and its traditional souk.
Continue to the Todra Gorges for a walk between towering canyon walls.
Arrival in the Dades Valley. Overnight in a charming riad.
Day 6: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Kasbah Ameridil – Marrakech
Travel through the Valley of Roses and visit famous kasbahs such as Kasbah Ameridil.
Cross the High Atlas Mountains and return to Marrakech.
Evening free to explore Jemaa el-Fna Square. Overnight in a riad.
Day 7: Marrakech guided tour
After breakfast, guided walking tour with a local guide to discover the historic districts of Marrakech.
Free time in the afternoon for shopping and exploration.
Overnight in a charming riad.
Day 8: Transfer to Marrakech Airport
Transfer from your riad to Marrakech airport at the agreed time.
