Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Departure from Marrakech in the morning toward the Dades Gorges via the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Along the way, observe Berber nomadic camps and travel through the Valley of the Roses to reach the Dades Valley.
Overnight and dinner at a hotel or riad.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara
After breakfast, visit the Todra Gorges with a walk through its impressive canyon walls. Continue through the palm grove of Tafilalet toward Merzouga.
Arrival at the hotel near the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Excursion – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, explore the Erg Chebbi dunes by 4×4. Visit nomadic families, wild oases, desert villages, and the village of Khamlia for a Gnawa music experience.
In the afternoon, camel ride into the dunes to watch the sunset. Dinner, music, and overnight in nomad tents under the stars.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Tazarine – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
Early morning sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel for breakfast. Continue to Rissani to visit its traditional souk. Travel through the Draa Valley with its thousands of palm trees toward Ouarzazate.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Cine Studio – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its role in many films. Continue through Berber villages in the High Atlas Mountains and return to Marrakech.
End of the tour.
